The image is not appropriate, as I made clear in my edit summary. It is for you to prove that it is appropriate, since you insist on adding it. It seems to me that the purpose of the image is to serve as a memorial for a murdered teen, and not to illustrate the topic of the article, which is already well-illustrated.
