For starters, I would move this stuff "She has had academic work published in the Journal of Zoology and Molecular Approaches in Natural Resource Conservation and Management. In 2009 she received an American Society of Mammalogists Undergraduate Award.[6]" down after the activism, or maybe delete them entirely. That stuff really isn't notable, and it's distracting having it above the meat of what makes her more notable. I would probably delete selected publications as well. And include about a sentence worth more information on boobquake. Consider Rebecca Watson's page as a model. --Grouse (talk) 21:39, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
- I'd really rather not remove content, especially content that is referenced, but I'm all for adding it. Yeah, we can talk a bit more about Boobquake but we should be careful that it doesn't become the focus of the article. I think the part that needs to be expanded is about her atheism/skeptic speaking; do you know of anything I could use as a source there to beef up that part? —Disavian (talk/contribs) 21:51, 13 October 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for your feedback. We do try to make sure that the links are actually broken rather than just uncreated pages, but I guess I must have missed something in your case. Sorry. Also, we are in the process of considering user experience, and we are starting to find some interesting results from that. SRI Intl fix - tnx!
Thanks for moving the ESP material away from the SRI page. That text was originally submitted several years ago and was apparently intended as NPOV material for the Remote viewing page. After a lot of WP arguing, someone merged it into the SRI page, which was completely inappropriate. Tnx again! jxm (talk) 00:58, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
- I understand how those kind of things happen around here- it just takes someone non-involved to come along and rewrite something to fix some of those long-standing issues. Stanford University WikiProject
Hi Disavian, Thanks for helping out so far with the Stanford WikiProject. I noticed that you were part of GT's WP, and I was wondering what tips you had for Stanford's WikiProject, given that it's such a small fledgling project. - Universities generally have archives of the school's paper (in Stanford's case, The Stanford Daily). Those serve as a very valuable historical resource, and won't be as easy to access once you've graduated (and moved to Texas, in my case). If you can focus on improving the main article(s) (obviously Stanford University) to Good Article (and later, Featured Article) status, other improvements in related articles will become obvious over time. For example, as I've improved History of Georgia Tech I've discovered names of notable faculty/alumni, who I've then written articles about. And while SRI International may have split from Stanford, they're still a part of the school's history/legacy, especially with the many notable pre-split topics such as ARPANET and The Mother of All Demos, so they're a good source of content for the history section. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 21:22, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi , I am a Wikipedian and researcher from Carnegie Mellon University, working with Professors Robert E. Kraut and Aniket Kittur. We’ve published many scholarly papers on Wikipedia and are partnering with the Wikimedia Foundation on several new projects.
I have been analyzing collaboration in Wikipedia, especially Collaborations of the Week/Month. My analysis of seven years of archival Wikipedia data shows that Collaborations of the Week/Month substantially increase the amount and nature of project members’ contributions, with long lasting effects. We would like to talk to Wikipedians to better understand the processes that that produce this behavior change.
We’ve identified you as a particularly good candidate to speak with because of your involvement with the WikiProject Universities' Collaborations, which is one of those we’ve been investigating. It would really help us if you would be willing to have a short talk with us, less than 30 minutes of your time. We can talk via skype or instant messenger or other means if you’d prefer.
