Hey, I've noticed that the title of the previous article is 1991-1992 South Ossetia War. I'm just curious, since you've worked on that article - when did that title come up? Was it before or after August 2008? Do you remember at all? HistoricWarrior007 (talk) 06:23, 24 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Agree merge edit

I totally argree to merge. The Template:Campaignbox Iraq War battles should be deleted and transfer everything from there to Template:Campaignbox Iraq War, like many other war temples. 207.233.67.8 (talk) 19:12, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nemoj me osudjivati jer nisam nista jos redirektovao niti neću ako se nitko još ne javi (od korisnika) --TheFEARgod (Ч) 13:42, 28 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Šta, ćemo i rat u Gruziji onda dodati u tu kutijicu? Zato što Rusija podržava Iran a Iran onda Hezbolah, a Gruzija dobila američke HMMWV i obuku. Ne postoji nikakav "OEF-Colombia" i taj rat traje vec 40 god. Pokreni slobodno diskusiju, mogu i ja za tebe ako mislis drzati low profile--TheFEARgod (Ч) 13:42, 28 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Sta sam ja tebi skrivio?89.216.236.45 (talk) 15:28, 28 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Iraq Lancet survey edit

Tek sam sad usao u problematiku, kaze 31% of those were attributed to the Coalition, 24% to others, 46% unknown.

It is sourced later in the article. As for fighting, it doesn't sound right; conflict best describes the situation. I've moved Kivu conflict to Kivu war. Is it ok if I move 2008 Nord-Kivu fighting to 2008 Nord-Kivu conflict? This conflict is the major part of the war, after all. Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :D 10:17, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

They both mean essentially the same thing; however, Arab–Israeli conflict handles it by calling the main one a conflict and the branch-off a war. Should I rename 2008 Nord-Kivu fighting to Nord-Kivu war? Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :D 10:31, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Alois Irlmaier edit

A tag has been placed on Alois Irlmaier requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. American Forces casualties in the war in Afghanistan edit

Ovde je diskusija Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/American Forces casualties in the war in Afghanistan.BobaFett85 (talk) 10:11, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ma znam da je zamaranje. Iskreno, stvarno me zabole za poginule Amerikance. BobaFett85 (talk) 22:13, 31 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Shira Utfila edit

A tag has been placed on Shira Utfila requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. whether or not the band exists, is not the issue. The band must be notable, per policy stated at WP:BAND in order to be included here. In a nutshell, this means that it must be famous and have multiple albums published by a major record lable. If they have, please add this information to the article with reliable sourced to back this up. Myspace and private band pages are unfortunately not considered reliable sources. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:2001 macedonia police.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:2001 macedonia police.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 12:10, 19 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Editing survey edit

Hi TheFEARgod. My name is Mike Lyons and I am a doctoral student at Indiana University in the United States. I am conducting research on the writing and editing of high traffic current events articles on Wikipedia. I have noticed in the talk page archives at 2008 South Ossetia war that you have contributed to the editing and maintenance of the article. I was hoping you would agree to fill out a brief survey about your experience. This study aims to help expand our thinking about collaborative knowledge production. Believe me I share your likely disdain for surveys but your participation would be immensely helpful in making the study a success. A link to the survey is included below.

Infobox edit

To what changes in the infobox are you referring?Kermanshahi (talk) 12:59, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Well you see there are many insurgencies were different insurgent groups fight each other, infact it is more often the case that insurgents to fight amongs each other, than not. Yet they are always listed at one side and the government is listed at the other side, to list every insurgent group as a seperate combatant is just impossible in most cases. Furthermore there were rumours at the time of al-Shabaab and Hizbul Islam, this would have made the infobox more or less impossible. And than comes another complicating matter which is that in the central regeon (Beledweyn) and Mogadishu, the two are still allies while they are only at war in the Southern regeon + there are still negotiations between them to make an alliance again in which case we'd have to move them back anyway and than comes that it's not sure Hizbul Islam is going to last very long anymore either, there's a big chance al-Shabaab will finish them off in the next few months so to make matters simple I changed the campaignbox back. Press TV edit

Their articles are somewhat biased but only very, very rarely do they actually report something that isn't true. I already think the Sa'dah war related articles have a lot of pro-Saudi/Yemeni regime biasm in them, if we now start excluding Shi'a sources due to allegations by hostile powers and only report from the Sunnis which are supposedly "reliable" (do you believe the Saudi regime tells the truth?) the articles will turn into wahabi propaganda, we don't want that to happen do we? Bombing articles edit

Look at the templates for the bombings in some countries such as Iraq and Pakistan. I see there are a lot of bombing incidents that didn't have high casualties, political impacts and less contents. We should delete those articles. I think we should only keep those incidents that had really high death tolls, government involvement and protest and deep influence on politics. Those incidents that don't have these requirements should be deleted. Qajar (talk) 09:03, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

what do you mean by "really high death tolls"?--TheFEARgod (Ч) 11:28, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Maybe at least more than 50 or 100 death. Qajar (talk) 21:23, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of War on Terrorism casualties edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is War on Terrorism casualties. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/War on Terrorism casualties. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:03, 22 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
