The whole Grawp thing edit

Hi there. I was just working on some anti-vandalism, when I spotted a bunch of recent page moves to variations on "Hagger", each one referencing "Grawp" (presumably some kind of Harry Potter thing). I got curious and started looking around, and spotted your Grawp page, listing sleeper accounts. So what's up with this? Is this guy just some random -- but apparently extremely determined -- vandal, or does he have some kind of axe to grind or what? --GoodDamon 02:37, 6 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

WP:HAU, Status, and you! edit

As you may know, the StatusBot responsible for maintaining the status of the Highly Active Users was taken offline. We now have a replacement in the Qui status system. This semi-automatic system will allow you to easily update your status page found at Special:Mypage/Status which the HAU page code is now designed to read from. If you are already using Qui (or a compatible system) - great! - no action is needed (other than remembering to update your status as necessary). If not, consider installing Qui. You can also manually update this status by changing the page text to online, offline, or busy. While it is not mandatory, the nature of HAU is that people are often seeking a quick answer from someone who is online and keeping our statuses up-to-date will assist with this. Note if you were previously using your /Status page as something other than a one-word status indicator, your HAU entry may have been set to "status=n" to correct display issues. Please clear this parameter if you change things to be "HAU compatible". Further questions can be raised at WT:HAU. This message was delivered by xenobot 23:12, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cometstyles why did you revert my edits to Intentional Community the information I removed, and then remove again due to Cluebot, does not contribute to a understanding of the topic.

for this. The guy is a nuisance -> Wikipedia:WikiProject Spam/UserReports/151.32.82.230, I blocked the guy for a week, but I am sure he will return via another route. I suggest we use the blacklist with extreme prejudice. --Dirk Beetstra T C 11:31, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hehe, don't worry, I'm not trigger happy :) ..--Cometstyles 11:33, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi, It's very kind of you that you reverted all the vandalism back on Azeri wp. Thanks, happy editing, --Bahar (Spring in Turkish) 11:12, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I've seen that you have done a lot of articles on that Wikipedia. Could you translate this onto Tumbuka, please?

Almazán is a municipality located in the province of Soria, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 5,755 inhabitants. Dih

Thanks edit

Thanks for your note, but I can assure you I'm not yet doing any blocking outside of the Wikipedia:New admin school exercises. Those accounts are ones that are made available to teach new admins how to block, which I definitely need to do before I perform any real ones! Good Ol’factory (talk) 23:58, 28 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok good, do they teach you there to never Block Jimbo Wales? :P ..--Cometstyles 00:14, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
That was probably never explicitly covered. I'm sure it will be as soon as someone does it sometime! Good Ol’factory (talk) 00:44, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
