I understand that having your first article being proposed for deletion can be frustrating, it happened to me too. The good news is that there are lots of notable subjects who aren't covered at all or that aren't covered very well on Wikipedia that we could really use some help improving. Since you seem to be from Philadelphia, perhaps you're interested in sports. If so, you could work on the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Flyers, or Philadelphia 76ers pages or the pages of any of their respective players. If you don't like sports, perhaps you could research a Philadelphia landmark like the Liberty Bell that you may be interested in.
