Hi, you added this paragraph to the article:

The Legend of Zelda was principally inspired by Miyamoto's explorations as a young boy in the forests surrounding his childhood home in Kyoto. Miyamoto has mentioned that several elements of his 'adventures' through those woods were taken into the Zelda games, like a lake he suddenly found one day in the middle of the forest, which at the time surprised him for being a totally new discovery for him, and which according to him, has been a recurrent element in all of the Zelda games (both the lake and the exploration and discovery factors).

On the reduction of psychology to neurology

On the reference desk, you stated that "made the mistake of reducing psychological states to simple physiological and neurological dynamics, when it's definitely not that 'simple.'" There is actually alot of discussion in the contemporary philosophy of science about the relationship between psychology and neurology. Some folks believe they are completely distinct (dualism), some folks say that psychological properties arise from neurological organization (functionalism) and some people believe that once we formulate a strong enough neuroscience, we're going to completely stop talking about the brain in terms of psychological states (emotions, desires, beliefs) and use only neurological terms (Identitity Theory,eliminativism)! If this topic interests you, I strongly suggest you pick up "Matter and Consciousness" by Paul Churchland for a good overview, or "Neurophilosophy" by Patricia Churchland for a more detailed approach. Fixing vandalism

Regarding this edit: Always repair vandalism by locating the last clean version of the article and reverting to it, rather than by editing out the vandalism. When you edit out vandalism, you run the risk of missing some. Worse, by editing out the obvious damage you may obscure the fact that the article was vandalized from other editors, preventing proper repair.--Srleffler (talk) 00:51, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
