Proposed deletion of Gustaf Ekström edit

The article Gustaf Ekström has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. ArbCom 2018 election voter message edit

Hello, Cautious. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of United city edit

The article United city has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is a neologism that is unsourced. I can't find any evidence that there is any significant usage of this term outside Wikipedia.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ruth Deech, Baroness Deech edit

Thank you forhelping to build Wikipedia. However, there have been problems. Your edits to Ruth Deech, Baroness Deech seem to violate WP:BLP, seem unsupported by sources, and seem to be fraught with original thought and personal speculation. These edits have been reverted (not by me). Please discuss and seek consensus before adding them back in. Thanks. DlohCierekim 18:23, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Fixed you archive edit

Hello, you moved your talk page archive to the title User talk:Cautious archive1, so it just got speedily deleted for not belonging to an existing user because it doesn't have a slash in its title. I've moved it to the right place and fixed the link. Hope you don't mind. Graham87 05:57, 12 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Discretionary sanctions alert - gender and sexuality edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in gender-related disputes or controversies or in people associated with them. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Keeping talk pages chronological edit

Hey Cautious,

When starting new talk page threads, please make sure to do so at the bottom of the page rather than the top,[1][2] to keep pages in chronological order. Thanks. François Robere (talk) 19:46, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

ANI notice edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. tgeorgescu (talk) 21:55, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Warning edit

At 19:20, 22 June 2021 you were informed that "gender-related disputes or controversies or in people associated with them" were under discretionary sanctions and that "a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect".

Since then you have engaged in canvasing[3][4][5][6][7] and generally hostile behavior towards other editors[8][9][10][11]. Editors working on articles under these sanctions are expected to be held to a higher standard when it comes to following the policies of Wikipedia. If not any uninvolved administrator may impose sanctions against that editor ranging from blocks to topic bans.

I need you to stop forum shopping and canvassing. More importantly I want you to stick to the subject of the article and not comment on other editors or their motives. If the situation does not improve I am going to impose a topic ban on you against gender-related disputes or controversies or in people associated with them broadly construed. If this happens you will not be able to comment on these topics or edit articles on the topics anywhere on Wikipedia.

If your behavior improves then you will be able to continue editing as normal. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 11:51, 23 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Understood. I was already warned not to seek the clarification as random punishment will follow. I am ready. --Cautious (talk) 11:54, 23 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
You are only asked to follow the policies and guidelines that every other user is expected to follow. Wikipedia:Canvassing, Wikipedia:Civility, and Wikipedia:No personal attacks are the policies and guidelines most relevant to your situation. These are rules editors are expected to follow in any subject, but in subjects under discretionary sanctions these rules are enforced more strictly. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 12:02, 23 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
There are constant personal attacks against myself. I am focusing on merit. --Cautious (talk) 12:09, 23 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

I agree that tgeorgescu should not have accused you of homophobia and I have also asked them not to do that. However each editor's behavior is considered separately and does not justify behavior in response. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 12:19, 23 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

I have proposed constructive proposal here Talk:LGBT-free_zone#3_points_to_improve_the_article. And I will not respond to personal attacks. --Cautious (talk) 12:23, 23 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
