Hey I saw your addition to True Blue. Its so good. Also I'll definitely help you out with the Cyndi Lauper song, one of my old favourites along with Time After Time. No need to thank me, Im glad someone is improving a Cyndi Lauper article. Maybe I will do one of her songs in the future, perhaps "True Colors" or "I Drove All Night". Just need to find the time right now, and maybe I will start after the "Papa Don't Preach" FAC ends. And just as me and Legolas are collaborating on the Madonna's songs, we can do the same on the Cyndi Lauper's articles, ohh and don't forget about Blondie. The thing that really bothers me is the cover versions, for example "Time After Time" have a LOTTT of them, and is even worse when there is a notable cover like with "I Drove All Night", I can't even consider to erase the Celine Dion infobox, because a horde of her fans will start reverting, is like doing two articles. Just like I did with "Take on Me". There is more info about "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", but I always believe that is more difficult to do the signature songs, like "Like a Virgin". I wish more people will start improving 80s songs, some of them are really bad articles, only useless trivia, and another have very protective editors. I always wanted to do "Don't You Want Me", "Self Control", "Cars" and "Bette Davis Eyes"; not much info unfortunately, maybe if I digg a little further. Frcm1988 (talk) 06:49, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Yes it is stuck right now, there's nothing I can do. I really can't copyedit that part, that is why I asked another user to help me but he is not too active at the moment. Maybe I wouldn't be to active these days because of the Holy Week, not that Im very religious, but in my country is very common to travel because of the long holiday. I will try to keep watching the articles, but just to be sure could you please watchlist the article, Im not sure if the United States celebrate this holiday (assuming you are from there). Regards. Hi Carpet, by any chance you have access to Fred Bronson's The Billboard Book of Number 1 Hits , I used to have a preview for some pages in Google Book Search, but I used them for "Live to Tell" and "Papa Don't Preach", and now I can't even see the preview :( It must be the stupid copyright laws, maybe it's not available here. I want to do another GA song (but not from Madonna, I think I have enough of her, maybe in the future I will do "Who's That Girl" or "Crazy for You"), I haven't figured out which one but since I love new wave maybe one of Culture Club, Tears for Fears, Blondie or Duran Duran. Open Your Heart

Hi Carpet, I see that there is a discussion regarding the article's promotion to GA, I hope it can be resolved. I send the user a message right after I see it passed. I have no problem with articles passing right away, actually half of my nominations passed like that :), but the reviewers had a lot more experience. This reviewer is clearly new, the "Jack and Diane" nomination proved it, I don't think he/she even made a single edit to the article. And some parts of "Open Your Heart" could be improved, for example the music video section, it could be splited to add a reception section. Well I know Legolas won't be editing this weekend, but if someone is going to make another review I could adress the concerns, I have no problems with that. I believe this article just like all of the True Blue era can be GA, even FA, there is a lot of info about all of them, and it could easily be a featured topic. I just checked the article. Its missing a detailed chart performance which i think you can easily find by referencing the links used in the MAdonna articles. Billboard can also be an essential source as they list other countries as well. I think a chart performance descriotion is necessary. Also the name Song history can be changed to Background or Writing because if I remember correctly they somehow see the word Song history negatively in GA (I remember it reading in WP:SINGLE). You are right. Cage actually named is son Kalel (wrong spelling)-(Superman's "alien" name), he's a huge comic fan. I rcommend you see Watchmen, brillant! (same director of 300 (film)). PR questions about Flicker

These are very good questions, and I've tried to answer them on the PR page. I'll be interested in hearing how it all works out. Depending on the nature of the photos, which I haven't seen, I think the Flicker approach stands a good chance of solving the photo problem if the photographer is willing to add a CC-by-SA license. One safe statement is "Frye's Measure Mill is the only surviving water-powered measure mill in the United States". We were told this by the folks at the National Register of Historic Places when we were added to the registery in 1982.

Lastly, I go in for surgery on May 8th but would have time during my convalesence (sp) - I can't even figure out how to get spell check to work - to get more info for you if it would help.
