help me edit

{{helpme}} please can someone tell me what's wrong in this page, or if now does it satisfiy the notability guideline? [1] Please tell me it with simple words, I'm not very expert in Wikipedia. thanks--Carlons 21:21, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Has he been featured in any news reports? Maybe promotions? If not, it may not. I may not be new, but I know almost nothing about notability. You may want to ask someone else. I'll keep the template on. -Goodshoped 21:47, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I beleive it's because he isn't really well known.--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions) 22:04, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}} please can someone tell me what's wrong in this page, or if now does it satisfiy the notability guideline? [2], I'm not very expert in Wikipedia. Please look at talk page too [3]. thanks--Carlons 22:24, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yeah. I don't really think that he is really notable. -Goodshoped 22:34, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

criteria edit

May be in U.S. he's very notable in Italy, but I believe he satisfies Wikipedia criteria simply, if you look in the categories of Italian artists there are some artists less notables--Carlons 22:44, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Antonello Matarazzo edit

I have to wonder, if you felt so strongly about this article that you lobbied for its retention, why you haven't done anything in over 3 months to expand and improve the article. You listed a number of places to reference his notability on the article talk page, but once it was stopped from deletion, it has had no improvements. If it isn't improved, it will once again be nominated for deletion. Wildhartlivie (talk) 03:05, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

article improving edit

I have inserted the author's portrait and other relevant informations in the biography, I would like to add some picture of his work but I have fear to violate the copyright rules of wiki, may be I'll do it later, when I'll know more of this matter. Best. --Carlons (talk) 07:10, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi Carlons,

We have received the email from Antonello Matarazzo regarding the use of his works. I assume you still want to upload these images, correct? You are hereby authorized to upload [5] [6] and [7] to Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons. After you have done so, please add {{PermissionOTRS|ticket=https://secure.wikimedia.org/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentTicketZoom&TicketID=1370125}} to the image description pages. Please let me know if you have any questions. Regards, howcheng {chat} 23:31, 26 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Duplicate images uploaded edit

Thanks for uploading Image:PneumoKreutz.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Steak 01.jpg. The copy called Image:Steak 01.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Antonello Matarazzo edit

I'm not sure why you asked me about this. I haven't worked on the article, or even seen it before. In looking at it, however, there are some problems with it, which don't include notability. However, the IMDB has only one listing for this person, which is a self-produced short film. There is a hidden tag inside the article saying it is self-promotion, while the anonymous IP that did this traces to Italy. I don't know if it is or not, but it has many style issues. There are no inline citations and just a listing of publications, none of which indicate where or that the subject is contained. The section called "Exhibitions" is not formatted at all, nor are the film festivals or articles and reviews. I suspect that the stark listing of these things with no direct sourcing may have brought up the question of notability, since none of it is verifiable. All of this makes for issues which need to be addressed. Good luck. Wildhartlivie (talk) 00:40, 29 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

So I did. I look at many many articles each day. I hope you can improve it, but I don't know the thinking of the person who put the notability notice on it. Wildhartlivie (talk) 01:36, 29 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:10secondi.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:10secondi.jpg, which you've sourced to INSUFFICIENT OTRS OVER 1 MONTH OLD. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 00:32, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:PneumoKreutz.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:PneumoKreutz.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:56, 25 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:PneumoKreutz.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:PneumoKreutz.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 10 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
