iArticles edit

Hi – thanks for the message!

There's a technical problem with the MediaWiki software that requires the first letter of all articles to be a capital letter. iPod isn't actually a title with a lowercase i – by tagging it with {{lowercase|iPod}}, it appears as 'iPod' in JavaScript-enabled browsers. The genuine article is still at IPod, as are IPod shuffle, EBay, and others. If you turn off JavaScript in your browser, you won't be able to see the lowercase title and it will appear to you as IPod. Also, you can see the real article's title by clicking 'edit this page', where you'll see "Editing IPod" instead of "Editing iPod." Note that just adding {{lowercase}} gives a disclaimer that the product name starts with a small letter – you have to add the |iPod section for it to work seamlessly.

I've added the {{lowercase}} tag to IHome, so it will appear to begin with a small i. If you're confused by my sad and inadequate explanation, take a look at WP:NCTR and at the article and you should see what I mean. Have a great day, and if I can help with anything else just let me know! - KrakatoaKatie 17:16, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: brazilian highlands edit

Hello. I don't know who you are or how many people you may have contacted to translate that page, but I have done it today. It needs some clean up, as some of the text is repeating itself. You may take care of that if you want.--Ivo Emanuel Gonçalves talk / contribs (please join WP:PT or WP:SPOKEN) 18:46, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Tom Natsworthy edit

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Tom Natsworthy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
