Hi. Could you respond to an issue at German-occupied Europe that you are involved in here and refrain from edit warring behaviour. In case you are unfamiliar with the editing policy at wikipedia, please see: Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. Thank you. --Morgan Hauser (talk) 11:38, 25 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Atlantic 2 edit

What does the edit summary say? And do you have an actual source for the casualties being wrong? IMO, sources routinely disagree on specific figures. TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 17:27, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Looking at the history, it looks adequatetly cited to me. If you've got a better source... TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 17:58, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
You're free to add the cite, if you've got the source with a different number. I do wonder if the 30,000 is Brit sailors only, or American only. Could also be the 72000 is a simple typo for 32000. Without a copy of the cited source, IDK. I'd check that, first. TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 07:39, 14 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Tirpitz edit

Hello BogdaNz. Please stop changing the images in the article; the lead image of an article is to illustrate and identify the topic. The recognition drawing of the ship is ideally suited to this purpose. Also, the image you uploaded needs to explain how it is suitable for use on Wikipedia. That means you need to provide evidence that the image is in the public domain in the United States (where the Wikipedia servers are located), or otherwise suitably licensed. Until you do that, the image cannot be used. Also, please stop changing the length, displacement, and speed figures for the ship - these are sourced to Erich Gröner's book; Gröner had access to the official Kriegsmarine documents. Parsecboy (talk) 21:19, 15 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please stop this, and discuss your proposed changes on the article's talk page. Nick-D (talk) 11:44, 16 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
The illustration drawing is accurate, it doesn't matter who created it. There are several real photos of the ship throughout the article; the one you insist on inserting in the lead section does not adequately illustrate the ship. As for the figures, Erich Gröner, who (I repeat) had access to the Kriegsmarine documentation during the war states the figures as they are in the article. Those two websites are not reliable sources. Parsecboy (talk) 13:24, 16 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
You have now violated the three-revert rule. You should undo your last revert, or you may be blocked. Parsecboy (talk) 14:05, 16 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
You do realize that continuing to edit war over this issue will only result a block, right? I strongly suggest you stop edit-warring and undo your last reversion. Parsecboy (talk) 14:49, 16 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I am telling you this in no uncertain terms. If you do not stop edit-warring, you will be blocked again and again for increasing durations until it becomes indefinite. If you want to continue editing Wikipedia, you need to walk away now. Parsecboy (talk) 19:21, 17 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have opened a thread concerning you at WP:ANI here. Parsecboy (talk) 23:03, 17 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
And here we are again. Stop edit-warring and discuss the issue, or you will be blocked again. Parsecboy (talk) 15:30, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Why can't you understand that edit-warring is prohibited? If you revert the article again, you will be blocked. Parsecboy (talk) 16:04, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at German battleship Tirpitz. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
