It maybe irritating at start, but later you would laugh. They think that we take them seriously. Also that 3RR report is getting funnier and funnier. Bladesmulti (talk) 16:40, 5 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
We have multiple copies of an IP who doesn't understand IP and so keeps adding copies. That is, the unregistered editor doesn't recognize intellectual property, and generates copies of himself and copies of stuff that should not be copied. Even if the IPs are not a banned editor, they still need blocking, and their pomposity is getting bizarre. Robert McClenon (talk) 18:54, 5 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello there edit

Hello Bladesmulti :-). I have seen that you reverted some edits made by a banned-user. Well that is understandable, but as one of the editors with the most edits in Iranian-related articles (and also some in Armenian, Kurdish and Turkic-related), i would like to ask if i have the permission to restore those edits, well - of course after i have investigated it to see whether it was a acceptable edit(s) or not. My apologies if my English sounds a little bad right now, i have been quite tired recently. --Mossadegh-e Mihan-dust (talk) 22:17, 5 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

See Wikipedia:BANREVERT, you cannot recover the changes that have been made by a banned user. When you are taking the responsibility of his changes, you will also discover that it is actually hard to even recognize that his versions have got a grip. If the subject comes from Safavid Empire and it is not liked by this banned user, he would highlight only those events that occurred in Afghanistan and mark rest of the Iranian geography as Safavid Iran. If he found that one citation is undue, he would probably remove those information that are due. But you can let me know any of the pages where you may have thought that his changes were important so that we can rephrase and use better citations. Bladesmulti (talk) 23:57, 5 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
If the info seems to be valid, check the sources, and if possible, improve it. In case of doubt, or just out of courtesy, discuss first at the talkpage. Reliable info is always welcome; just make sure it's reliable. And take your time to check the sources; that in itself is fun too. At leats it is to me; I like to learn new things. Best regards to all of you, Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 05:30, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

ANI edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

It appears that an IP is claiming that you are frauding at Middle Eastern American. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:26, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Removed that discussion. While I had no intention to look into content, as it was written by a banned user, I just saw that [2] actually mention Northern Africans, and supports that pointed sentence. The banned user is as usual gaming the system and misinterpreting the references. Bladesmulti (talk) 17:33, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Bal Gangadhar Tilak edit

Hi Bladesmulti,

In the article of Bal Gangadhar Tilak, there are few mistakes like place of birth. I have personally seen the birth place in the Ratnagiri city. So I have corrected the same with proper references. Bladesmulti, I am not a newcomer for Wikipedia. I have put the correct/right information in the article. I have seen the birth place of Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Please do not revert. If you have any issues, please discuss. I am not promoting any website. Which website you are talking? Why I should be doing that? Please explain in details rather than just reverting.... Coolgama (talk) 11:23, 11 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
iloveindia.com is a promotional link and you are removing other better citations for promoting that link. Jain edit

You can read The complete works of Swami Vivekananda (Volume 3), what else you need. It's shocking, without reading the cited aricle you have removed the section. I have also mentioned on the talk page. [3]

Swami Vivekananda, viewed Jainism in its true perceptiveness and objectivity. He opined that Jainism was a great religion which putforth the concept of Ahimsa and Truth as its main principles.Swami Vivekananda explained how Jain moral principles saved Indian society from further degradation:

“What could have saved Indian society from the ponderous burden of omniferous ritualistic ceremonialism, with its animal and other sacrifices, which all but crushed the very life of it, except the Jain revolution which took its strong stand exclusively on chaste morals and philosophical truths? Jains were the first great ascetics and they did some great work. ‘Don’t injure any and do good to all that you can, and that is all the morality and ethics, and that is all the work there is, and the rest is all nonsense-the Brahmins created that. Throw it all away.’ And then they went to work and elaborated this one principle all through, and it is most wonderful ideal: how all that we call ethics they simply bring out from that one great principle of non-injury and doing good.” (Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda, Volume 3)जैन (talk) 09:40, 12 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

I have understood, the copyright thing now, I am a beginner. But, why do you want delete page Jain Sculpture, that I can't understand & the excuse given by you (we already have Jain Temple page) is weird.ProudJain (talk) 14:15, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
That's not helpful, it is just unnecessary to have 2 articles on same subject. We don't seperate Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi from Mahatma Gandhi' or Siddhartha Gautama or Gautama Buddha. Bladesmulti (talk) 14:18, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Sir, Bill Gate's house and Bill Gates are two different things.ProudJain (talk) 14:21, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I am talking about the content you had copied to that page, it is not different or anything new compared to Jain Temple. Bladesmulti (talk) 14:22, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Not even a single line on Jain Temple and Jain Sculpture is same & the content I copied from external sources (without understanding the copyright concept) has been removed. Also, why were the references removed, can you tell? ProudJain (talk) 14:27, 13 January 2015 (UTC)— Preceding unsigned comment added by ProudJain (talkcontribs) 14:25, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
You are talking about the copied version or non-copied version which is almost nothing now. Bladesmulti (talk) 14:31, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I request you to leave this page for some time, there is so much information that can be added for the world to see. One more thing, visit Tamil Nadu, and you will find much about Jain Sculpture there and also converted ones, as there are more than 480 Jain Sites in Tamil Nadu. And I can see you don't want to help, as I asked for your help, but you just ignored & deleted it, it's okay, but shouldn't admins help beginners? ProudJain (talk) 14:39, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
No help is possible when you are recovering the copyright violations and saying Why you don't help me?. Bladesmulti (talk) 14:41, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I asked you that how can I add an important news to the article, but you removed it. Why?ProudJain (talk) 14:43, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I am not engaging in edit war, I have corrected and then added the content, as small content can be added with references & one line is small. The news is important, as any one visiting Chandragiri Hills should know about the recent excavation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ProudJain (talkcontribs) 14:47, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

You had copied it, and you had moved Jain sculpture to Jain Sculpture (Tamil Nadu), so that you could make your own Jain sculpture but you couldn't so you made a Jain Sculpture. Bladesmulti (talk) 15:07, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Why was this removed? https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sign_of_the_cross&diff=prev&oldid=643468648 Or it wasn't?

In the Catholic Church, a priest or deacon blesses with one sign of the cross over an object or person, but a bishop blesses with a triple sign of the cross; ordained bishops, priests and deacons have more empowerment to bless objects and people other than themselves; according to the Catechism of the Catholic Church the more a blessing is concerned with eccesial or sacramental matters, the more it is reserved to clergy.[1] The status of lay blessings in during distribution of communion is ambiguous. Extraordinary Ministers of Communion, blessing those who do not wish to or cannot receive communion can speak or raise the hand but not make the sign of the cross over the person.[2][3] In the Catholic organization, Legion of Mary, members doing door to door parish surveys bless the homes of those not home by tracing the sign of the cross on the door.[4] Although the sign of the cross dates to ante-Nicene Christianity, it was rejected by some of the Reformers, and is absent from some forms of Protestantism, although other forms of Protestantism, such as the Anglican Church and Lutheran Church use it. However, it has often been rejected by some Non-Conformist Protestants as being a High Church practice, despite Martin Luther's positive personal view. The prescribed use of the sign in Book of Common Prayer and the defence of the sign of the cross were established in Anglican canon law in 1604.

Apology edit

I have been pissing you off for the past month. I have been a retard for the past month. I have been an ass to Wikipedia for the last month. I've been an ass, especially to you. I'm here to apologize to you, and PhilKnight as well. You did the right thing, by reporting me. I don't usually say this, but, you've turned me around. I used to be a real troublemaker around here, and earlier, Wikia. But, the way you look at it, it doesn't make you look cool. It makes you not well-liked, but, well-hated. This was the case with me. I was not impressing anybody, including you. In fact, it made you pissed off than ever. That was all my fault. But, my IP changes for no reason, and people including you mistake it for either block evasion or sockpuppetry. I apologize, but, I cannot change it. Bladesmulti, I now hate who I was back then, and I want to become a constructive editor now. I have learned what I done, was defeating the purpose of building an encyclopedia. I was destroying it. But now, I want to re-build it, clean up what I have done, and make a fresh start. Do you please accept this apology? If you do, I will be happy. Remember, always keep in your mind, it was my fault, not yours at all. 2620:117:C080:520:5E26:AFF:FEFE:79A4 (talk) 09:10, 2 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

And I apologize for making a second account. 2620:117:C080:520:5E26:AFF:FEFE:79A4 (talk) 09:12, 2 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi blade can You add The latest Court case For the RSS of india on the RSS page? edit

I've just spotted that the RSS is going through a court case in April, would it be possible for you to add this into the RSS wiki page so that other indians can see it? its very Important as it could result in The other indian parties as being deemed part of a Terrorist Group, could you also make sure to note that it was the american sikh group which pushed it into the courts, thank you.92.236.96.38 (talk) 13:22, 8 February 2015 (UTC)CaplockReply

Ref http://sikhsiyasat.net/2015/02/04/usa-new-york-court-to-hear-sikhs-for-justice-lawsuit-against-rss-in-april/

Not really important right now, as it is more about what will happen. Bladesmulti (talk) 15:13, 8 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Oriya / Odia edit

Hi, Oryia became odia, orissa became odisha and orissi became odissi in 2011 by the 113th ammendment bill passed the Sansad in 2011. And people will start referring it as Odia only when they'll know about it for which we have wikipedia. SUBHRAJIT ROUT (talk) 22:22, 6 February 2015 (UTC) Some links for your reference-Reply

Nonetheless, we should not change all occurrences of the names, just as we do not use Kolkata for Calcutta when referring to it in the historical sense. - Sitush (talk) 10:10, 9 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Buddha (TV series) edit

Hi! You recently added a source on this page. But I could not find the page no. on that book as that book is not available for preview. Can you please provide the link of that book which contains preview of that page which you added in the source? If you cannot provide it then it will be subject to removal in the future. I am just informing you. Thanks Terabar (talk) 12:28, 9 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Some weeks ago it was changed by a user who didn't knew well about Kapilavastu, I was just attempting to correct it. Section was tagged as undue, I have just cleared most of it. Bladesmulti (talk) 12:59, 9 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Can you help me file an AE? edit

I've never done it before, and I'm stumped on one of the first questions:

Sanction or remedy to be enforced
Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/CASENAME#SECTION :

What do I put in place of Casename? Is it the name of the article? And what do I put for #Section?

Thank you in advance AtsmeConsult 15:05, 10 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Casename should be the person's name if you are pointing a particular user otherwise it should be the page's title if you are going to cite the problems with more than one or two users. Bladesmulti (talk) 15:16, 10 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thank you - what do I put in #Section? AtsmeConsult 15:20, 10 February 2015 (UTC) PS - BLP if it's a BLP?Reply
See [6] a recently declined case, and then see [7], #Section requires nothing, it is placed automatically after you save the page. Bladesmulti (talk) 15:25, 10 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Yes I am available, and interested in contributing too, but I have too little a time to spend than I would like to, for a few months. Is it about asking me if I can contribute on a particular something or about removing inactive users? - Inphynite (talk) 08:30, 13 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Discussion for Changing Vyasa page to Krishna Dvaipāyana Vyasa edit

As discussed in Vyasa TALK page i have created a new page " Vyasa (title) ".But feel that the existing page Vyasa should be renamed to " Krishna Dvaipāyana Vyasa ", inorder to mention about the author of Mahabratha and his contribution. The new page "Vyasa (title) " should be the general platform for indicating all Vyasas ever existed . I have filed for this on Wikipedia:Dispute_resolution_noticeboard to obtain consensus among the various users involved. You are most welcome to go through Wikipedia:Dispute_resolution_noticeboard and tell your opinion. Thanks Arjunkrishna90 (talk) 05:52, 18 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Copyright and the Discoverer edit

Went through everything you gave me, checking manually (i.e. not relying on the Duplicate Detector), and I don't see anything that deserves a warning or sanctions. As far as I can see, everything's either coincidences ("first bishop of the", for example) or basically the only way to put it. Nyttend (talk) 23:01, 25 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Appellate Tribunal for Foreign Exchange, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Foreign Exchange.
