University projects edit

Before you and your fellow students get too far along in your projects, I strongly advise you and your professor/instructor to read our guidance for school and university projects. You need to be very careful to adhere to Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help further. – ukexpat (talk) 18:20, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Can I also point out that Wikipedia policy prohibits multiple people using one account – see WP:NOSHARE. This is important for attributing credit for edits (good and bad!). Only one person must use this account; other people must create their own accounts, otherwise the account will be blocked (which probably wouldn't be good for your project...). OK, stern warning over. I echo ukexpat's welcome, and I'll be glad to help you wherever I can. You've certainly picked an interesting topic to work on, and I look forward to reading what you and your friends can produce. I can't emphasis enough the importance of using, and citing, good references to back up what you put in articles, as this proves that you're not just writing what your opinions are. Regards, and happy editing, BencherliteTalk 23:48, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
