Your contributed article, 24 Oras Weekend edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, 24 Oras Weekend. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – 24 Oras: Weekend Edition. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at 24 Oras: Weekend Edition – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Parkywiki (talk) 08:48, 14 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Teahouse edit

Hello, Alexis Jhon Gaspar, and welcome to Wikipedia. I notice that you recently added yourself to the list of Teahouse hosts. I presume that this was a mistake, and that you meant to add yourself to the list of guests? You can do that at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Guests. Let me know if you need any further assistance. Cordless Larry (talk) 08:59, 26 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have now added a duplicate entry to the host list. I am going to presume that these additions are in error and will remove them. Please reply here or at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions if you need assistance. Cordless Larry (talk) 09:18, 26 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your userpage edit

Hi, Alexis Jhon Gaspar, you'll likely not be pleased about this but I have suppressed a number of edits to your userspace which reveal too much personally identifiable information about yourself. I've done this per policy and for your own protection and safety on-line as you are a self-declared minor. I'm really sorry about that and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add it. For some useful information on privacy and safety, take a look at Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. Thanks, and sorry for messing about with your pages. -- HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:25, 26 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Opera4.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Opera4.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 19:02, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Signing your posts edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 21:12, 29 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Non-free logos edit

You are free to edit the content of Template:User en-6 during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Firefoxicon106p.png edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Firefoxicon106p.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nthep (talk) 09:33, 3 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:Waterfoxicon100p.png edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Waterfoxicon100p.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nthep (talk) 09:37, 3 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Non-free logos edit

Please do not add logos that you have uploaded as non-free into templates. Non-free logos are only allowed in articles, not templates or on userpages. You must also read up on how to correctly upload non-free images WP:NFCC, this talk page is littered with warnings about images that are not correctly attributed and subject to deletion. That said a number of the files you have uploaded are free images that already exist on Wikipedia or Commons and you can freely use those in your userboxes but please read how to correctly size images within the userboxes. It would also be nice to see you make some contributions to the encyclopedia and edit some articles - so far all your edits are either to your user page or creating userboxes and while that is all interesting, it is not the main function of Wikipedia. Nthep (talk) 15:09, 3 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Stop making the same mistake by reinserting non-free images into templates or userboxes. Nthep (talk) 15:37, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. I'm sorry to have to do this but you have numerous warnings and advice to read the image use policy, especially as it relates to the use of non-free images, and you have taken no notice. Your draft article, User:WaresA/sandbox edit

Hello, Alexis Jhon Gaspar. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "sandbox".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 13:18, 21 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
