July 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. However, I noticed that your username (Adminimax) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it appears to infer administrative authority which generally does not apply to brand new user accounts. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account to use for editing. Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 23:15, 16 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I am not an administrator, my name comes from Latin and is an abbreviation: ad = adiuvo (I help) mini = minissimis (through very small things/contributions, Ablativus instrumenti) max = maximum (the big thing - refers here to Wiki) Originally I wanted to choose the name adiuminimax, but it was too long. I have seen a lot of fun names in Wikipedia and I think my one is not special. And I would not dare to ask somebody else to change his or her name, simply because people can interpret it in different ways and pick one which might be seen as a violation against any rule. So I hope the clarification on my user page makes it clear that I in no way want to infer administrative authority, but that it meets Wikipedia's username policy . Any suggestions to improve my abbreviation is more than welcome! --AdminiMax 22:19, 14 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
