Request reason:
I believed that by the changing of my username to Abby at RINA according to the guidelines set out by wikipedia was enough to highlight my affiliation with RINA. I work for the not for profit organisation and needed to update the content on the wiki which was incorrect. The content added was not from a marketing perspective but content supplied by the historian who is not paid for the content. I understand why some of the content could be seen and I realise why I have been blocked and will not add any further changes due to conflict of interest. That said there is essential historical content that was referenced that has been removed. Equally there is content on the page that is no longer correct e.g the logo and the coat of arms. If there is another way to supply the content to someone else without a conflict of interest I will happily do so
Decline reason:
Your username alone is not sufficient to disclose your conflict of interest. Please read WP:COI which explains specifically how to make your declaration. And yes, there's another way. You can suggest edits (which may or may not be made) on the article's talk page after disclosing your conflict of interest. Other neutral editors will then decide whether or not to make your changes. It's not necessarily a fast process, but that's the right approach here. You are free to edit the article's talk page so there's no need to modify this block at this time.
