License tagging for Image:Technopark02.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Technopark02.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:07, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Good Effort

Rajith, Good effort in contributing to the article here. Seems that you are very interested in Kerala related articles. I can help you in that. my mail id is : sacs@sify.com Contact me in case you need any help.

regarding Regional Research laboratory

The correction u made in RRLT regarding Functions of RRLT I think u made the entry from RRLT website. But the functions given there are of CSIR (RRLTs parent organisation) and not specifically of RRLT. So shall I delete (?) SRF RRL-Thiruvananthapuram

Re: Good Work

Hello! Thank you for the good words. :) I'm sure we all are doing an excellent job here. I was more focussed on the Kochi-related articles during the last month, because I working towards getting the Kochi page featured on wikipedia. I hope to submit it soon after restructuring the lead section one final time. I guess I'll be spending lesser time on wikipedia now that my college has started. Regards, and happy editing! -- thunderboltza.k.a.Deepu Joseph |TALK15:53, 21 July 2006 (UTC) PS: Could you add Wikipedia_talk:Notice_board_for_India-related_topics/Kerala to your watch list so you can participate in the Kerala related discussions?

Thanks!-- thunderboltza.k.a.Deepu Joseph |TALK14:42, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Hello

I-flex

Hello, I think that the article on I-flex Solutions looks like a real advertisement page for that firm. Maybe you work for them? --Cantalamessa 21:35, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

state-of-the-art

This is where as of now things stand. You don't agree with the statement that Kochi is the largest city of Kerala since Corporation boundaries are smaller and contain lesser population. I too dont agree that "Trivandrum is larger" as census authorities dont go by corporation boundaries to define a city.

If we can agree to avoid the wording "largest city" and "2nd largest", repeated editions will stop. If we do not agree on this, be assured, you will spend your life on this.--—Preceding unsigned comment added by Alniko (talkcontribs)

Re: your message

Rajith, Deepu

I am new to talk and discussion. Also new to wiki editing. Even though I was using wiki for past 3 years I never new thet I could edit/contribute. For eg, probably I should have written this message in my talk box than yours. I will specify all my edits in future. I am yet to get all the conventions right. Please bear with for a few days. I also don't know about the Economy page that you are talking about. I have not seen it yet. In future I will differentiate between projects proposed and already underway. I will try to remove such clumsiness in my posting soon.

thanx Nik —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alniko (talkcontribs)

Trivandrum

Re this, I guess it is ready for a formal peer review Tintin (talk) 08:02, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Its looking good. Try bringing it in tune with the guidlines set by Wikipedia:WikiProject Indian districts. A few more pictures would be welcome too. -- thunderboltza.k.a.Deepu Joseph |TALK11:42, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Pradip Somasundaran

This is a message to all Category:Kerala Wikipedians

I want your opinion on this particular person Pradip Somasundaran. He claims to be a famous singer in Kerala. Now being a Malayalee, I have not heard of this person before, so I wonder whether or not you have heard of him before and set this issue straight. If so, then please let your opinion be counted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pradip Somasundaran. Please note that by voicing your opinion as a Malayalee/Keralite will add more weight to your words.

Many Thanks --Ageo020 21:42, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Thiruvananthapuram district

I looked at the first few paragraphs. Shall continue later.

  • Please be sure the details are precise. The line Hindu temple at the centre of the city assumes that Kizhakke kotta is the centre of the city. Is that correct ?
  • 'inside temples' sounds awkward.
  • The last paragraph in the lead which begins One of the other major landmarks in the city is about the city and has no particular relevance in the article about the district.
  • The paragraph that begins The district can be divided in to three geographical regions should provide some context. The location of highlands, lowlands and midlands are mentioned in the next paragraph, and it can be moved up.
  • More photos of important locations in Tvm and in other parts of the district. One or two can be stolen from the article about the city.
  • Anything about how the district evolved. Was it formed in 1949 or 1956 ? Did it gain or lose any places to neighbouring districts/states in later years ? Tintin (talk) 15:05, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Rajith, I'll reply & review the rest tomorrow. I thought of doing this today, but am too busy at work. Tintin (talk) 15:11, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

Constant Vandalism by an user: Alniko

Hi Rajith,

The user Alniko, is constantly reverting the pages of Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, and Kerala. I think, some remarks about the biggest city is the cause for his upset. I am a new editor here. But, when I came through the discussions held on the subject, I too felt that the version on which the majority agrees is the right version. The above mentioned user is reverting the changes and not trying to reach in a consensus.

He is using your name to do the editions (see Kochi history). (that is the reason for me to write to you). Whether you agree or not is not an issue. He can make sensitive changes only after reaching a consensus in the talk page (that is what i understand from my short stay here). But the user Alniko is doing the reverts without any ones consent.
The saddest and ridiculous part is that he is reverting to a very old version, and thus, many new informations are lost. For eg; the link to the sub-article Trivandrum Media, etc, is lost after his reverts. It seems that he is having a copy of some older edits, and just copy-pasting it here to make the reverts (absurd !!!), which clearly indicates that he is not used to wiki style of editings. Also he is not at all interested in reading those policies and guidelines (forget the matter of following.. lol).

Recently he started his editions in Kerala page also, and many new information is being deleted.

Please respond to his acts of vandalism. Dont allow him to use your name.

--Samaleks 16:21, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

Unfortunately, Rajith, we can do nothing about Alniko's actions outside of wikipedia. His blog is his liberty. The best we can do, is to ignore it. I've already mentioned him to the admins. If he engages in any sort of personal attack or edit war, he would be blocked. -- thunderboltza.k.a.Deepu Joseph |TALK12:38, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi from Thejas

hello rajith, Sorry about that name deletion from ur page.. I just did a "jux2" search on RRL Thiruvananthapuram and I saw ur "Usertalk" page listed with my name written. I just didn't want to make my name associated with this wikipedia article. Thats why I created a new userid. And.. regarding "Research Divisions in RRLT", the heading u suggested seems good. Once again.. sorry, Thejas Manoj
