Hi A, regarding your reverting and request for protection at this page, the anons who were removing the material [1] were in the right, as it violated all three of the content policies. I know from my own experience that it's easy to assume anons are causing disruption when they remove large chunks of material like this, but it's always worth a double check, particularly when it's persistent. This isn't a criticism by the way, because I know it's easily done, just a heads-up. Cheers, SlimVirgin talk contribs 03:23, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

I simply thought that this was still part of the NPOV policy, as it used refs, and other reasons, including the fact that the user would not provide any refs supporting his claim. If this is the case, it is a mistake on my part.  A p3rson  03:27, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
It did use some refs, but some were to Wikipedia, and others were to a self-published website. But as I said, no worries. It's easy to assume the worst when you see anons or new accounts blanking. I've done it many times myself, and it's something we always need to guard against. Best, SlimVirgin talk contribs 03:33, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

Reviewer permission

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 02:36, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
