Hi, I'm not sure if this is the best way of getting in touch with the above, but I'd like to respond here to the message he sent to my work email account.

The reason the article didn't get through is simply because it didn't have enough references. All articles have to have references from reliable sources that are independent of the subject of the article – this is so other editors and readers can check where information comes from. You can see more about this guidance at the Wikipedia page Wikipedia: Verifiability. This explains why sources are needed and tells you what counts as a reliable source – I would suggest you give the page a read.

Hi again, I've checked as requested. A press release from the organisation or an associate of the organisation would not count as independent. To be independent it would need to be something outside the organisation and with no monetary/promotional advantage – for instance, a story in a newspaper or other media source, something in a scholarly journal and so on. This is not specific to your organisation – but is the benchmark all articles are judged by. Please do read WP:V as advised, as it explains all of this. Hope that helps.
