Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Rabbit in the Moon. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Using the word "finally" is not a neutral statement, in reference to your edit. Lighthead þ 22:16, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

  Thank you for your contribution to wine bottle, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox to get started. Thank you. ~Amatulić (talk) 16:11, 13 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Jazz may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s and 2 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • Taylor]] as leader. Coltrane championed many younger free jazz musicians, notably Archie Shepp), and under his influence Impulse! Records became a leading free jazz record label.
 • [[Weather Report}}'s self-titled electronic and psychedelic Weather Report debut

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 23:39, 14 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, 217.155.163.30. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page James Holden (producer), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

 • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
 • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the request edit template);
 • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
 • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
 • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. MarioGom (talk) 14:45, 19 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
