Welcoming New Users edit

Hi. I noticed that you seem to welcome new users before they have made any edits. This can backfire though, as they might just be using that account for vandalism. In my opinion, it's best to wait for them to do an edit, so you can judge their motives for joining. Mpvide65 (talk) 00:28, 25 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disambigs? edit

A lot of your edits are marked as fixing disambigs, but many of them are of this nature: [1]. This isn't fixing a disambig, but turning a wikilink into ordinary text. Yngvarr (t) (c) 11:04, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please stop using "Wikicleaner" to clean up disambigs. Apparently the application is broken and as Yngvarr points out, disables wikilinks rather then fixing them. If you continue using it, you may risk being blocked. Also, please note that this issue has been posted at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Concern about User:1oddbins1. September 2008 edit

Because you've already been warned...
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys, did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to The Magic Roundabout. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. GO-PCHS-NJROTC (Messages) 12:04, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Since you did not stop or respond, I've blocked you for an hour. You are responsible for the edits you make incl. edits made using automated tools. Please fix the problem and respond here. --Oxymoron83 12:21, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

User pages edit

Apart from the fact that edits like this are undoubtedly not what you intended to do, please do not edit the User:RussBot subpages at all. In general, you should not be using automated tools to edit other users' user-pages, or other users' comments on any talk-space pages, with rare exceptions. --Russ (talk) 12:33, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Automated edits edit

Please do not run Wikipedia Cleaner in automatic mode under your main account. Running automatic programs like this requires bot approval, running it again under you main account will result in a much longer block. In addition to breaking hundreds of links, you also made hundreds of inappropriate disambiguations. Please be more careful in the future. Mr.Z-man 15:57, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Churches edit

You have made multiple changes to church infoboxes. I agree that Church is inadequate; and have been correcting them when I come across them. But under "Architecture" Church body is completely wrong; it should be church (building). Can you please correct all your edits of this type. Peter I. Vardy (talk) 18:37, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

As you did not respond to my request I have had to make the requested changes to all the churches on my watchlist and, as I do not have your skill with bots, they have had to be made manually. Please correct all those that I have not, and in future be careful when you make multiple edits that they are correct. There is no point in being "skillful" and giving a lot of work to other editors.
