I became interested in Turkic literature and heritage while attending University of Wisconsin-Madison. After visiting the Central Asian region and learning more about the people living there, my interest has solidified further. Currently, I am reading several books on the subjects pertinent to the history of the region and hope to be able to share some of that knowledge with the Wikipedia community.

In the meantime, I already had created three articles that we featured in the Did you know? (DYK) This is a great honor.
