I really do not know much about Wikipedia. Years ago I registered as Hdjf3 because I came across a misspelling in a Wikipedia page and wished to remove it -- which I did after registering and with my correction being accepted. That's all as far as my relationship with Wikipedia is concerned. A few days ago I happened to need information about a deceased Oxford professor -- Pamela Sue Anderson (1955-2017) -- and the Wikipedia page was very basic, with warnings that it could be deleted or merged unless someone contributed more information to flesh out such page. I happened to have some information of my own and made an attempt to make it available to Wikipedia editors but, as it looks, the only way for contributing raw material to Wikipedia is deciding to become one of its editors. That is something I cannot do because my day is so full of commitments that it is impossible to also work for Wikipedia. I just provided the extra internet URLS and some text obtained from them, hoping that it would be processed to improve on the presently very scanty Wikipedia information on Pamela Sue Anderson. But, in fact, after a quite short time all the raw material I appended seemed to have been removed. So, I do not expect to do any more in the future unless someone knowledgeable about Wikipedia's ways lets me know that, indeed, there is a way of providing raw information to be processed by Wikipedia editors, and explains to me how to achieve that. All the best!
