I am a junior at Washington University in St. Louis, double majoring in Biology and Global Health & Environment. While exploring my interests in science and kids in college, I began volunteering with local adopted kids in the St. Louis area. As I learn more about issues like international adoption, I have come to understand the importance of fields like pediatrics and public health. I aspire to work within these fields. And as I continue to grow in my interests in research and science this semester, I will be studying behavioral ecology, and social wasps, in particular.
