NFL Playoff edit

Need to modify the wild card bar, since each conference will have an additional team — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:E4A1:9020:5015:7F56:5B8A:B84 (talk) 23:32, 6 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

What does common record mean? Starspeeder (talk) 22:38, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

It means the combined record for each team against all teams they both played against, minimum of 4. So for example, Carolina, the NY Giants, and Detroit all played the Bears, Cardinals, WFT, and Buccaneers. The Lions went 3-2 against those 4 teams, and the Giants and Panthers went 2-3. So Detroit wins the tiebreaker. Then, for the Giants and Panthers, the strength of victory tiebreaker must be used. Jdavi333 (talk) 15:43, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
