Wrong! Almog who was murdered at Maxim's is another man! the former commander of the Israeli Navy is still alive! Amit A. 19:28, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Indeed, the Ze'ev Almog killed in the Maxim bombing in 2003 is not the individual this article is about. He retired with the rank of Commander (Lt. Colonel), after serving with the Submarine flotilla. THe Ministry of Foreign Affairs page calling him an Admiral is mistaken. One need only read the biography to see that page discusses someone other than the subject of this page. Poliocretes (talk) 08:29, 27 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Saying that Almog was born in Israel is wrong , as at the time (1935) it was the British Mandate of Palestine , and this should be changed 109.67.184.159 (talk) 20:45, 12 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
