"mostly American?" That's an absurd proposition.

Trade vs tradesperson

I have edited the first paragraph as it suggested that "wainwright" was the name of the trade rather than the tradesperson. That is fine but I'd like to have known the proper name for the trade to go along wih it. ~ R.T.G 16:45, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Multipurpose page

Merge proposal

Per the above, the current page at Wainwright isn't a good article. See WP:NOTDICTIONARY. I propose that it simply become a disambiguation page, merging with the existing Wainwright (disambiguation). 162 etc. (talk) 15:42, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

Such a merge will serve only one purpose, to loose info about what is a wainwright unless al the info be transferred to the disambiguation page. In other words do NOT merge. 23:58, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
