Open Science edit

As bots are flagging my edits I need to open this. Is there anyone out there that thinks information about UZH's history of open science is not important enough for Wikipedia? We are in a reproducibility crisis and fir profit academic publishers have undermined the quality of science, therefore it is a major move that UZH is making open science policy and engaging in citizen science. There are three main issues with your edits.
  • If open science is a significant as you claim, you can surely find some reliable secondary sources. Original research is not acceptable on Wikipedia.
  • External links are generally not allowed in the body of articles.
  • Including Open Science as a top-level section is undue: Open Science is certainly not as equally important as "History", "Campus", "Academics", "Student life", or "Notable alumni". Instead, it should be mentioned somewhere in the History or Academics section in the form of a short paragraph, once again reflecting its relative importance.

Chemistry edit

This review of major works of Chemistry performed at Zurich might be of interest to anyone looking to improve this article. doi:10.2533/chimia.2008.68 Project Osprey (talk) 16:58, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Title edit

To keep it short: wouldn't it be more useful to move this article to University of Zürich since it accurately reflects the city's name, which is also stated in the opening sentence? Despite the original umlaut in the name, the article Zürich includes the lemma with an umlaut too. Tobiasi0 (talk) 18:16, 23 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
