notable deaths edit

At the time of writing there were 80 notable deaths on the list. This sparql query could be used to check if that's still the case. 1Veertje (talk) 18:11, 6 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

1Veertje, could you clarify what the "The list also included:" section criteria is? Listing any redlinked people seems like opening a gateway to non-notable entries. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 04:34, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I included the people directly linked to a notable person already described on Wikipedia. I also included Artemis Nazarian because they were mentioned in the article about the school already. As you can see I didn't mark these as red links, though Emma Seifrit Weigley (Q95889043) might make the grade. Especially Donald Reed Herring, brother of Elizabeth Warren, seems worth highlighting to me. I tried to included a short description for each because there's a history of defining women exclusively by their relationship to their husbands, and I wanted to avoid doing that. 1Veertje (talk) 04:57, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@1Veertje: Yeah, that makes sense. I worry a little, though, that it might be confusing to readers to have a "here are some notable people" section and then a "here are some more people" section. I'm also unsure whether it's merited to give more description to people merely linked to a notable individual than to a directly notable individual. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 05:06, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
