Hi, I noticed that change too a while back, but I was not the one that made the edit. I think I just trusted the person who made the change for some reason, and that was a mistake! Edit Warring at Opera Mobile

Crying

Hi, I didn't remove the information on Newborn's crying patterns (as in the paper you linked) - that was still in the article & I was happy with that. I removed the info about Eastern European, African and Asian babies crying more which quoted the Johnson & Johnson study. If you read that one, there was not a word in there to support what was being said. I'll remove it again - but will make sure the french / german pitch information remains. Librivox template

I don't know if it's just one book but, after the changes you made, the librivox template no longer works for the SM U-28 (Germany) article.

It's been a while since I edited that template, but I think my reasoning at the time went something along these lines: very popular works (like the declaration of independence, or the declaration of human rights, or Oscar Wildes stories) have had multiple recordings. They do show up in the search results but you won't know they even excisted if you link directly to one recording. The way the linking was done wasn't a very human think and needed some geeking out before you getting how that template was suppose to work. I did have some plans for encorporating both the highly advanced direct link to a single entry ánd still making it posible to link to search results, but my template tweaking skills aren't that advanced. --IIVeaa (talk) 06:37, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

You're right that the change needed to be made. Unfortunately, a lot of other links also need to be fixed.

if you include {{librivox}} it takes the pagename for both the searchterm and the title of the link. parameter 1 is the searchterm, parameter 2 an alternative title.Parameter 3 gives you the option of including the name of the translator. --IIVeaa (talk) 13:05, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

I fixed them all. Had I known beforehand that only one or two still worked then I'd have reverted your changes and asked that you make a second template. I wish you had tested your changes on more than one or two articles.

I like the {{librivox}} option, although the problem with that is that a more accurate search usually requires both title and author.

It would be nice if using it with only one parameter would then get the title from the article title. Right now it seems to use the searchterm as the title.

I download the file, open it in Photo Shop and save as changing the format to JPEG (drop down menu below where you name the thing). I think an open source piece of software like Paint.NET should work too --IIVeaa (talk) 15:18, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

If you have evidence supporting that it was copied from elsewhere, you should tag it with {{db-f9}}, but I should point out that the source you thought it was copied from was published in 2010, while the image was uploaded here in 2009. It certainly may be a copyright violation, but a clear and convincing source should be found if you wish to nominate for speedy deletion. What is the difference?

You seem to know about gables. What is the difference between a Dordtse gable and a Crow-stepped gable? Both names are used in the categories here: [1]. If they are the same it is silly to use both categories. Better then to mention in Crow-stepped gable that there is another name. Dordtse gables used to be the final exam for a master mason in Dordrecht. It's a subtype of stepped gable, in that it usually features docorated ancors, has clover leaves in the arches above the windows --Vera (talk) 16:36, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi! My app has been approved to be published on Labs here. I've been having so trouble publishing my app there though, partially because of lack of time. I got SFTP working this weekend though!.

Re Watchmen ep5

I understand where you are coming from in calling what Wade/LG went through as "sexual assault" but that is original research in context of the episode and sources. I looked to see if any RS called it that, and the closest I found was [3] which Lindelof explains what the scene was to be - a young person scared about sex, not someone that was sexually assaulted, that coupled with the big attack, caused trauma for life. When a person deserves an article due to their work in a professional field, it is normal to see by what name they are usually referred to in that setting. Hello! Thank you for using Cite Unseen. The script recently received a significant update, detailed below.

• You can now toggle which icons you do or don't want to see. See the configuration section for details. All icons are enabled by default except for the new generally reliable icon (described below).
• New categorizations/icons:
  • Advocacy: Organizations that are engaged in advocacy (anything from political to civil rights to lobbying). Note that an advocacy group can be reliable; this indicator simply serves to note when a source's primary purpose is to advocate for certain positions or policies, which is important to keep in mind when consuming a source.
  • Editable: Sites that are editable by the public, such as wikis (Wikipedia, Fandom) or some databases (IMDb, Discogs).
  • Predatory journals: These sites charge publication fees to authors without checking articles for quality and legitimacy.
  • Perennial source categories: Cite Unseen will mark sources as generally reliable, marginally reliable, generally unreliable, deprecated, and blacklisted. This is based on Wikipedia's perennial sources list, which reflects community consensus on frequently discussed sources. Sources that have multiple categorizations are marked as varied reliability. Note that generally reliable icons are disabled by default to reduce clutter, but you can enable them through your custom config. A special thanks to Newslinger, whose new Sourceror API provides the perennial sources list in a clean, structured format.
• With the addition of the new categorizations, the biased source icon has been removed. This category was very broad, and repetitive to the new advocacy and perennial sources categorizations that are more informative.
