Template edit

Here is a template for adding a new row to the table. TheTrolleyPole (talk) 21:01, 8 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

For 1 station with 1 artwork:

|-
| ?station name?
| data-sort-value="?line?" | toronto
| ?title?
| data-sort-value="?last name?, ?first name?"| ?artist?
| ?description?
|

For 1 station with 2 artworks:

|-
| rowspan="2" | ?station name?
| rowspan="2" data-sort-value="?line?" | toronto
| ?title?
| data-sort-value="?last name?, ?first name?"| ?artist?
| ?description?
|
|-
| ?title?
| data-sort-value="?last name?, ?first name?"| ?artist?
| ?description?
|

That looks good. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 01:47, 7 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Old Mill bridge edit

Another TTC-adjacent piece: http://www.cbc.ca/beta/news/canada/toronto/programs/metromorning/old-mill-bridge-transformed-into-canvas-for-indigenous-art-1.4213284 Radagast (talk) 22:01, 24 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

You had me confused because "Old Mill Bridge" is an old road bridge across the Humber River. But you should include something about this because it is more than "adjacent", being part of the station structure. Secondarywaltz (talk) 00:00, 25 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
That should be mentioned. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 02:34, 25 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Murals edit

Wiki Commons is enforcing an obscure Canadian law that forbids the publication of photos of murals located in Canada without the permission of the artist. Wiki Commons staff has started a campaign to delete such mural photos from Wiki Commons and Wikipedia pages. Among the first victims are photos of Hockey Knights in Canada at College station. (See previous section.) Examples of other victims are a restaurant billboard painted on the wall of a restaurant and a 3/4-view photo of a small-town store with a mural on its side wall. The prohibition excludes 3D artwork such as statues and fountains, and perhaps handicrafts such as tapestries. This campaign may further affect this article; it also affected a similar article for the Montreal metro. I wonder if anyone else enforces this law. There is no "obscure Canadian law that forbid the publication of photo of murals without the permission of the artist". This is utter merde! Henrilebec (talk) 06:11, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I was going to upload a photo and found out about this. So I actually tried emailing the artist but, obviously, she ignored me. I’ve never heard of this and she must be thinking I was crazy or spamming her.—al12si (talk) 00:28, 16 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
