Date of birth discrepancy edit
The external link in the article states it as October 13, but it seems the Newcastle book has it as October 30. - Dudesleeper · Talk 10:09, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Career ending injury edit
The article notes that this was suffered in a tackle by Mel Blyth. However Blyth's page makes no mention of this, but that of Bobby Kellard states that the tackle was committed by him. Both entries cite the same reference. Eagleash (talk) 12:37, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- Update; this issue has now been resolved. Discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football & further research shows that it was in fact Blyth who tackled Green. Eagleash (talk) 22:53, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- Update. Further information, & discussion at project above means page now edited to show that Green suffered a cartilage injury & although he subsequently attributed this to a tackle by Blyth, Green felt any contact was accidental. Article edited accordingly. Eagleash (talk) 22:11, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
