Reviewer comment - only question is, can we confirm poppies placed at beginning or conclusion of ceremony? I'm fairly certain it is at conclusion of ceremony. Other than that, the only reason I did not rate 'A' is that it hasn't gone though GA process.Bridesmill 15:23, 21 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I believe it is at the conclusion of the ceremony. For one thing the crowd is too dense to let people approach the tomb before the end of the ceremony. Cjrother 16:38, 17 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it is at the end of the ceremony. --INTRIGUEBLUE (talk|contribs) 21:23, 20 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

It was actually the memorial not the sarcophogus upon which the young men urinated. -McKell

The first image in the article is unprofessional, unclear and not illustrative. I strongly recommend it be removed, and the latter image be bumped up to the main position. Sherurcij (Speaker for the Dead) 20:56, 12 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree. I attended the Remembrance Day ceremony this year, and have a nice shot of the Tomb - I will upload it and add it in place. I'm not a huge fan of the second shot either - it's quite dull. I live in Ottawa, so I'll see if I can get a better shot of it at some point in the near future. --INTRIGUEBLUE (talk|contribs) 21:23, 20 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Curtis Barrett edit

Barrett killed the shooter, not Vickers. Vickers went in and got shots off but the fatal head-shot was by Barrett. http://nationalpost.com/news/canada/canadas-loneliest-hero-why-youve-never-heard-of-this-rcmp-officer-who-shot-the-parliament-hill-gunman 2001:1970:4F66:5900:9428:D8F4:4298:5719 (talk) 21:37, 18 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Urination on the monument. edit

This is false information. There are many opinion peices about this, but no evidence. No evidence even of an investigation and certainly no charges or anything else that would validate this accusation. This needs to be removed. Also the girl that stood on the stairs and yelled "freedom" was neither dancing on the monument, or even standing on any part she should not have been. This also should be removed. 155.254.197.218 (talk) 17:35, 8 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
