Verb tense edit

Much of the artilce was written in present tense and read like it was cut and pasted from news articles. The whole artilce probably should be rewritten and consolidated.Wkharrisjr (talk) 15:54, 8 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The Herald or The Catholic Herald? edit

What is the proper name of the newspaper? And do newspaper names get italisized, placed in quotation marks, left unhighlighted?Wkharrisjr (talk) 15:54, 8 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

It needs to be italicized, per Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(titles)#Italics. --BorgQueen (talk) 16:00, 8 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Proper name of the paper newsletter is "Herald The Catholic Weekly" and the website is called "Herald Malaysia Online". Probably should move the page since I don't think the article title is an official name for a court case. I have used Herald throughout the article. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 04:26, 9 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
That's great but Allah needs to be italicized, per WP:MOS#Italics. I reverted your change; please edit the article again without removing the italics. --BorgQueen (talk) 04:35, 9 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yahweh and Allah edit

If the link to Yahweh and Allah is removed without a good reason, then I will re-insert it.--478jjjz (talk) 11:17, 9 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Titular Roman Catholic Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur? edit

Why “titular”? Kuala Lumpur is not a titular see, is it? – Kaihsu (talk) 11:41, 23 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

That's the title under which the case is reported in the Malayan Law Journal. — Cheers, JackLee talk 12:20, 23 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes, but why the word “titular”? Is this related to the lack of recognition by the Malaysian state? – Kaihsu (talk) 12:15, 24 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Since it was the church that initiated the suit, it would have been the party that chose the name "Titular Roman Catholic Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur" to set out in the court documents. So it's unlikely that the Malaysian Government had anything to do with the choice of the name. — Cheers, JackLee talk 15:45, 24 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

The appeals court said the term Allah must be exclusive to Islam or it could cause public disorder." – Kaihsu (talk) 11:42, 27 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
