A correction should be made in the early part of the discussion of the novel's plot. The name of the small West Texas town is "Sweetwater" -- one word -- not "Sweet Water". I read the book when a teenager, many years ago, and where I grew up in a town just 28 miles west of Sweetwater. I can vouch for the wind. Chaztex9 (talk) 19:08, 4 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
