I need to discuss the language used in this passage. Anon.

Copy edits edit

Just broke up article into sections and added cast, re-worked awards. Article in serious need of footnotes. Who's in favor of deleting non-references copy edits? Luigibob 02:28, 26 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Andreson, Anderson or Andersen? edit

IMDb, the Criterion Collection and Hemingway's story say Andreson, Tim Dirks spells it Andersen, while TCM, Allrovi, noir of the week and filmsnoir.net have Anderson. It's pronounced in the film like Andersen or Anderson. I can't find the end credits (if any) on Youtube and I've taped over my copy of the film. The current reference only applies to the story, not the film. All I know is Kitty had nothing to do with this problem. Kitty is innocent! I swear Kitty is innocent! For what it's worth, the Swedish version of the surname Anderson is Andersson. Andersson is the Swedish family name descended from the meaning "son of Anders." Andreson comes from "son of Andre." They're not actually alternate spellings of the same name. Monkeyzpop (talk) 06:09, 9 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Lubinsky or Lupinsky edit

It's Lubinsky. The only references that say Lupinsky are sites that copy the misspelled WP entry. Monkeyzpop (talk) 08:25, 8 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
