Not being familiar with the Japanese language, I'm not entirely clear on what Zaikyō kī kyoku is supposed to be — but what it is, as currently written, is a virtual duplication of Television in Japan with no obvious purpose that I can discern. Merge it here or rewrite it more clearly and effectively, please. Bearcat (talk) 09:51, 25 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Zaikyo Ki-Kyoku ('Tokyo based Key Networks') are the main TV stations based in Tokyo. Such as, TV Tokyo, TV Asahi, etc.... Each individual prefecture broadcasts content from those Key Stations on their regional affiliate stations, such as the Iwate affiliate of TV Asahi, Osaka affiliate of Fuji TV etc.... That being said, regional affiliate stations sometimes produce content that is original. A prefecture might have national news broadcast in the evening for a little bit on one station (broadcast from the 'Key' or main station in Tokyo, then after that, a regional news broadcast from the regional affiliate stations on the same channel might follow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.173.251.124 (talk) 06:50, 25 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Channel Addition edit

I am not familiar with Japanese Television but I think That the Anime Channel Animax needs to be in the list of satellite based networks of Japan. Someone please clarify. Vin99 (talk) 19:36, 24 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
