@Gobonobo: I'm not sure "Memorial to Christopher Columbus" should be the title. There are plenty of "memorials to Christopher Columbus" so the disambiguation is helpful. ---Another Believer (Talk) 13:58, 15 June 2020 (UTC)

Reference to the statue being across from the Minnesota Historical Society Building is confusing edit
While it is correct that the statue was put up in 1931 across from the Minnesota Historical Society building that is no longer the case as the building is now the Minnesota Judicial Center. In 1992, the Minnesota Historical Society moved to a new building nearby.
I propose changing the following sentence:
- A site for the memorial was set aside in Saint Paul on the grounds of the Minnesota State Capitol, across from the Minnesota Historical Society Building.
To:
- A site for the memorial was set aside in Saint Paul on the grounds of the Minnesota State Capitol, across from what was then the Minnesota Historical Society Building but is now the Minnesota Judicial Center.
The the change is not acceptable then at least some where in the article it should be clarified. Myotus (talk) 22:38, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
