Normalize year-by-year tournament pages?

Now that a hectic conference tournament weekend has died down, I thought I'd go through the yearly SEC Baseball Tourney pages and normalize the page titles (e.g., "1991 SEC Baseball Tournament" to "1991 Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament") per Wikipedia:Article Titles#Article title format, which says that "Abbreviations and acronyms are generally avoided unless the subject is almost exclusively known by its abbreviation." Any objections to this? I plan to do the same for the ACC Tournament pages, as well. Kithira (talk) 02:56, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Think it's a great idea. Abbreviations such as SEC and ACC should be avoided in article titles. When you move all of the articles, their categories (Category:SEC Baseball Tournament, Category:ACC Baseball Tournament, Category:Big 12 Baseball Tournament) will need to be speedily renamed per C2D criterion: category titles should exactly match article names.
