That was definitely the problem and much commented upon at the time. And mentioned since in documentaries about C4 news, such as there have been. RuthieK 23:14, 2 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Article location edit

Is she actually using "Viscountess Hailsham"? Particularly as her husband doesn't seem to be using the Viscountcy. A lot of modern women with titles are opting to use the highest title they hold in their own right rather than a higher title derived from their marriage - e.g. Norma Major uses "Dame Norma Major" not "Norma, Lady Major".

One of the few other examples of a contemporary Baroness in her own right married to a higher title is Susan Cunliffe-Lister, Baroness Masham of Ilton where we have her there rather than at Susan Cunliffe-Lister, Countess of Swinton, whilst many a commoner woman married to a title has declined all styles - e.g. Beatrice Webb refused to use "Lady Passfield". Possible Conflict of Interest edit

Some edits have been made by Syrri (talk), who claims to be Baroness Hogg's PA and states that she has made changes to the page because "this is her preferred wording." I have therefore added a note to Syrri's talk page, drawing her attention to a possible Possible Conflict of Interest.—GrahamSmith (talk) 03:24, 27 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
