Sanath's Father. edit

There was some very innaccurate and disrespectful information added about this subject: "He is the son of Sri Lankan kabaddi great, Tanath Om Panath Jayasuriya."

This has been rectified! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Namalr (talkcontribs) 20:23, 23 January 2007 (UTC).Reply

Unfortunately, Mr Namalr does not understand the purpose of Wikipedia is not to spread lies. Jayasuriya's father is a respected sportsperson in South Asia and has a monument dedicated to him at the Sialkot Museum of South Asian Sports in Pakistan. He is not a janitor and I suggest you peddle your wares away from this website. TheBoogler 01:45, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I suggest you present some proof about your claim before slagging off others 'Theboogler.' And i find your comments insulting to everyone and you are being extremely hippocritical. Namalr 22:02, 13 March 2007

Sanath's Children edit

Sanath Jaisurya's Personal Life edit

The information mentioned regarding marriages (actual or alleged), divorces and children have been sourced and referenced from national dailies without any implicit intention to malign the character of the individual (it has been mentioned simply that the source has reported these facts which are in the public domain). Please refrain from vandalising the article simply because of slight unpleasantness associated with the same. — Preceding unsigned comment added by YH1975 (talkcontribs) 16:21, 26 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Jayasuriya's Bowling edit

for some who has taken close to 300 ODI wickets, there is no mention of his bowling or bowling feats(eg-first person to take 250 wickets and 10,000 runs) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 59.164.18.196 (talk) 05:50, 10 April 2007 (UTC).Reply

BLP issues edit

The "controversies" section is rather badly written (I suspect the various authors probably weren't native English speakers). It contained some frankly unencyclopaedic content describing the precise content of a sex tape. I still think some content probably breaches BLP, but it's hard for me to determine whether the sources are "tabloid journalism". 92.40.217.87 (talk) 12:39, 29 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
