If not M5 then is SPICA concept dead edit

ESA or JAXA can't afford to develop it for the M5 mission. Now what happens ? Will it look for more funds or get redesigned for lower cost ? - Rod57 (talk) 12:29, 6 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Probably nothing further will happen. It is possible to revive the project if it still is scientifically valuable, but it will take a decade at least and probably all the instruments will need redesign then.
