Article Title Change? edit

I propose to change the title of this article to Connecticut–Rhode Island football rivalry, or something along those lines. I think that would more accurately represent the information in this article, especially since the trophy has not been presented in the past few meetings. The Ramnapping trophy can be included in it's own paragraph of the article, as it is still a big part of the history of the rivalry. Mjs32193 (talk) 22:52, 27 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hah, some rivalry. The last seven games have all been played at Connecticut, and they haven't played at RI since 1995, according to the article. Seems that the Ram has been permanently 'napped. wbm1058 (talk) 02:36, 6 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
I agree that it's not much of a rivalry anymore, especially because URI is FCS and UConn is FBS, but it was a big rivalry for a long time. The schools proximity to each other are the reason why it will continue to be one to some extent.Mjs32193 (talk) 01:52, 7 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • I agree to move this article. As I mentioned in the other discussion, this article includes a lot of additional information about the rivalry beyond only the Ramnapping Trophy. The trophy has not been brought out at games since the 1990s and the teams still play occasionally (next game is scheduled for 2018). I believe it would be a good idea to keep the trophy as a section of the article, as that is the current format of the article, and it was an important era of the rivalry.Mjs32193 (talk) 23:41, 28 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
