LGBT? edit

According to LGBT themes in mythology, this figure is somehow LGBT-related. Does anyone know how, even if it is disputed? If not, i've tagged it for removalYobMod 13:50, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Searching around I couldn't find any sources backing up this claim. I'd also like the other claims to be sourced ("He is still venerated as a patron of landlords, prostitutes, the LGBT community, and petitioned by devotees for a peaceful home and abundant fortune in business.") It's not clear where this veneration is occurring - China, presumably from the context, but it needs a source. However I did find sources that mention his association with prostitution (and the general "floating world"), landlords, and textiles in the Edo period. Idk how substantive this source would be:

But it does reference male kabuki actors petitioning Ragaraja for success in their liaisons with their male lovers. 73.53.89.33 (talk) 16:48, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

I've added this source (I'm the previous poster, didn't have a Wikipedia account previously), as well as a few references to Ragaraja and homosexuality in the historical record. Further research on this subject would greatly benefit from someone who can read Japanese, as I found references to several sources that don't have an English copy).
