"Duke" not "Count Palatine" of Palatinate-Neuburg edit

As a review of the German Wikipedia pages and secondary literature will reveal, these rulers were actually "Dukes of Palatinate Neuburg." In addition they bore the title of "Count Palatine" from their descent from the Rhenish line of the Wittelsbach family. However, they were not the "Counts" of Neuburg, as that territory was a duchy. Because of this, I suggest we should revise the nomenclature to "Dukes of Palatinate Neuburg" in keeping with they German Wikipedia pages. Gamonetus (talk) 13:40, 13 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I agree with using the word Duke in this Wiki. German speaking people I know use the word Duke when translating to English. They would say "Duke of Neuburg" without the "Palatinate." Palatinate is English for Pfalz / Palatinate (even Rheinpfalz). In my opinion, the Wiki title should be "Philipp Ludwig, Duke from Palatinate-Neuburg" - not "Palatine." 44mm16cm (talk) 21:27, 2 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

"In 1613 Philip Louis's eldest son converted to Catholicism" - Who is this? His name did not appear in the Wiki page prior to this sentence. The first name isn't written with 2 "p"s.
