Not done: See MOS:DATES: ...editors should not change an article from one guideline-defined style to another without a substantial reason unrelated to mere choice of style... and Anunoby is chiefly noted for participation in the NBA so use of the current date style is at least plausible. Changing this would require the WP:CONSENSUS of involved editors and is therefore outside the bounds of a simple edit request. Please start a separate discussion in order to determine whether such a consensus for changing the date style exists. Eggishorn(talk)(contrib) 00:47, 8 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
He's also British and doesn't appear to have dual citizenship so the format should be dd/mm/yy.
There are American football players like Christian Pulisic who have played all of their professional career in Europe yet still use the mm/dd/yy format.
Luol Deng is perhaps a better example of someone who has played his whole professional career in America and yet his page shows a dd/mm/yy format as he is British.
The same should be the case for OG.

Should his Knicks tenure be listed as starting in 2023 or 2024?edit

Anunoby was traded to the Knicks in 2023, but didn’t play his first game for them until January 1, 2024. Is it standard to list starting/ending years based on when the player joined the roster or when they actually first played for the team? Could be a larger question about other basketball players in similar situations. 99.196.129.174 (talk) 21:01, 1 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
