Proposed deletion edit

I'm not sure how notable it is; I'll post to the Romanian Wikipedians' notice board. Certainly it was creating a bit of a stir in Bucharest when I was there in 2001-2002, a time when tech activity in general was first starting up in Bucharest. I have a DVD they put out around that time, and it struck me as rather pioneering, hence the article. - Jmabel | Talk 17:50, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Also a print publisher edit

http://www.noesispress.com/ would appear to be the same people. Books on phenomenology. - Jmabel | Talk 18:00, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bookstore? edit

This Bucharest bookstore may also be the same people. - Jmabel | Talk 18:01, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

    • Well, there is the possiblity that they were causing "a bit of a stir" and then faded into obscurity without rising to notability. Offline sources would be helpful; perhaps Google is not good at indexing Romanian newspapers. Abductive (reasoning) 19:33, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
      • Yeah, a lot of the Romanian newspapers don't keep content on line very long. - Jmabel | Talk 02:13, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
        • What do you recall? Was it in the papers, or just talked about? Abductive (reasoning) 03:07, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
      • The release of that first e-Book was held at the National Museum of Romanian History, and it was a pretty big event. I was there; I don't remember the amount of newspaper coverage, but clearly enough to get me there! - Jmabel | Talk 05:24, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
        • Okay, but an opening in a museum or gallery usually isn't enough to bring an artist to notability, so it for this? You must be unconvinced, or you would have removed the prod tag already. Abductive (reasoning) 05:35, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
          • Yes, as I said above, I've posted to the Romanian Wikipedians' notice board, because I'm not particularly on top of what is happening in Romania now. I was there for 6 months in 2001-2002, and have only been back for one month (in 2006) since then. - Jmabel | Talk 16:02, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
      • How did you manage to miss these sources, which despite my very weak Romanian, I can see provide significant coverage of the subject? Phil Bridger (talk) 19:18, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
        • I swear on a stack of bibles that Google News returned nothing yesterday. I cut and pasted the Romanian name from the article. Abductive (reasoning) 19:32, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
