The sources so far are limited to the Manchester Evening News, BBC Radio 4, The Mail on Sunday, ITV News etc. If you have additional sources, please contribute.
Is this person really worthy of a Wikipedia page? edit
The page is for a minor political candidate, and much of it reads like a political advertisement.
Twitter suspension edit
He was suspended from Twitter for hateful conduct. Haven't yet found a source reporting on this. 1Veertje (talk) 11:45, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
Poor sources for controversy section edit
The section from 2020 controversy is only sourced from Spiked-online and The Critic. I don't think these sources are reputable and if better sources can't be found it should probably be removed. 185.69.145.200 (talk) 09:57, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
- Neither one is on our lists of deprecated and questionable sources such as Wikipedia:Deprecated sources and Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. You can ask whether they fail to comply with WP:RS at WP:RSN, the reliable sources noticeboard. It might be helpful to explain whether you think that the article text is poorly sourced and the sourcing could be improved, or that the article text is misleading or inaccurate. 2024 Greater Manchester mayoral candidate edit
I emailed Reform, and they told me that Buckley is actually standing as an independent. Can't find any sources for that though. TrottieTrue (talk) 19:30, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
- Looking at the 2021 Reform tweet that's our source for him being their candidate, I see his Twitter strapline now begins "Independent Candidate for Mayor of Greater Manchester in 2024". Here's his tweet announcing he'll be an independent candidate. NebY (talk) 19:45, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
