Missing NJSO Music Director edit

The press release and information about Lacombe, as well as the orchestra's own website, all indicate Jacques Lacombe as the orchestra's 13th music director, with Neeme Järvi as the 12th music director. However, the list has, of course, only 12 names. The only 13th name that I can think of would be George Manahan, the "acting conductor" mentioned in the NJSO's timeline page:

Can anyone confirm or deny the missing 13th music director? Thanks, DJRafe (talk) 00:16, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Actual date of establishment edit

For some reason, the date of establishment of this orchestra seems to be before the existence of America itself. Whoever can verify it, should be able to put the actual date of this symphony's establishment as well as make the article up to date. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Borninbronx10 (talkcontribs) 21:07, 14 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

History section truncated edit

The history section of this article reads as if chunks of it have been removed. As is, it makes little narrative sense. Also, Newark Symphony Orchestra redirects to this article, but there is little in the article to directly explain why. I wish I could do more than to signal the problems, but I have no other information or expertise in the field. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.90.158.156 (talk) 15:51, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
