Ministry of Taxation → Ministry of Popular Affairs – Old name "Ministry of Taxation" not verifiable/sourcable. The candidate proposed is seen in multiple sources. Alternative candidate is the Japanese Romanization Minbu-sho.
My google search using "Minbushō" "Mimbu-shō" etc. did not turn up any books or papers that refered to this ministry as "Ministry of Taxation". The inline source "Titsing" is fake, this source refers to the ministry as "Min bou-no sio. Ministère de la police" p.430, hardly translatable as "Ministry of Taxation".
My Hail Mary guess is that perhaps Delmer tr. of Jien, Gukanshō uses this designation. But even if that 1 example could be cited, it still puts the usage in the miniscule minority.
Maybe Enkyo2 (talk · contribs) just invented the name after reading the description of the ministry?
"Ministry of Popular Affairs" or "Popular Affairs Ministry" is used in numerous books and papers, and will be formally listed when I have the revised version of the article up and running.— Kiyoweap (talk) 02:01, 17 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
